What Changed
The Evidence Canvas — the visual mapping of all 14 Annex IV elements — has been completely rebuilt. The previous version was a prototype with limited backend integration. The new implementation connects directly to the evidence API, supports multiple evidence types, and introduces a verification tracking system.
Key Features
Verification Workflow
Every piece of evidence now has a verifiable status:
- Pending: Evidence has been uploaded or submitted but not yet reviewed
- Verified: Evidence has been reviewed and confirmed as compliant
- Rejected: Evidence does not meet requirements and needs revision
This three-state system gives Compliance Admins clear visibility into what’s been validated and what still needs attention. Auditors see the full verification chain with timestamps.
Discovery Auto-Fill
When Nomyo Router reports model inventory and telemetry data, aissurance now automatically generates evidence for 9 of the 14 Annex IV elements:
- Description of the AI system
- Monitoring instructions
- Physical or logical interfaces
- Robustness, accuracy and completeness
- Cybersecurity measures
- Technical constraints
- Typical errors and interactions
- Change control documentation
- Expected lifetime and retraining
This reduces manual data entry by approximately 65% for teams using the Nomyo Router plugin.
Text Evidence Submissions
Not all evidence requires a file. The new canvas supports direct text evidence submission — useful for short descriptions, policy statements, and procedural documentation. Text evidence is encrypted at rest with the same per-tenant keys as file uploads.
File Evidence Improvements
File uploads now include:
- Content type detection and validation
- Automatic Annex IV element mapping based on file type
- Size tracking and display
- Download links for verified documents
What’s Next
Post-market monitoring integration is the next major feature for the Evidence Canvas. Once incident tracking (Article 73) is fully implemented, evidence related to serious incidents will flow directly into the canvas for consolidated review.
